This year’s Archivissima festival will be an entirely online event, with a schedule of over 50 podcasts plus a digital exhibition itinerary.
FCA Heritage renews its partnership with Archivissima, the Italian archive festival approaching its third edition.
FCA shares the festival’s aim of enhancing and promoting Italy’s historical heritage. The event will take place online from 5 to 8 June 2020... due to the Covid-19 emergency.
The main theme will be the role of women: the focus will be on stories in which women have played leading roles in activating the process of change.
The Festival schedule contains over 50 podcasts – 15 of which have been created by successful Italian writers – illustrating and explaining archive material from various historical companies and cultural institutions.
FCA Heritage will participate in the event together with the Centro Storico Fiat, the renowned motoring museum in Turin. This contains an astonishing collection of cars, memorabilia, models and advertising posters, plus a huge documentary heritage illustrating the history of Italy’s largest car manufacturer.
A new digital exhibition itinerary will be also visible, dedicated to the heritage of Italy's past gathered in countless archives, enriched with period images and films from the Centro Storico Fiat.
The entire schedule of digital content will be available on the website www.archivissima.it and on the event’s official social networks.
