Over the years, the event organized by Mito Club Jesolo has attracted an increasingly international following. Now in its eighth edition, the event boasts the participation of clubs from all over Italy, as well as the Netherlands, Switzerland, Slovenia and the Czech Republic.
Un Mare di Mito (which literally means ‘A Sea of Myth’) is a meetup that exudes true passion for Alfa Romeo. At the same time, it is also an event where enthusiasts can enjoy two fun-filled days of activities.
The meetup starts in Jesolo on Saturday 23 September. After registering at the Hotel Excelsior, participants are invited to take their Alfa Romeos for a spin on the Pista Azzurra karting circuit, ahead of the parade on Jesolo’s central avenue, the longest in Europe.
That will be followed by the traditional cake cutting and the award ceremony for the crews.
The main trial is scheduled to place on Sunday 24 September at Piazza Mazzini. Each crew is invited to have fun by customising its Alfa to star in a photo shoot. The best pictures will feature prominently in the club's 2018 calendar.
In the afternoon, following the closing parade through the streets of the town centre, an award ceremony will be held in the presence of municipal government representatives. The programme also includes a prize draw with goodies donated by the sponsors, as well as a performance by the Magic Stars, Jesolo’s very own majorette troupe.
