Heritage is attending the Rétromobile car show in Paris with four vintage gems from Alfa Romeo, Fiat-Abarth and Lancia.
At the 47th edition of Rétromobile, Europe’s oldest classic car exhibition, which will take place from 1 to 5 February 2023 in Paris, Porte de Versailles, we will play a starring role by showcasing four vintage gems.
The Alfa Romeo S.Z. (1989) was considered a prototype and was part of the ES30 project. Retired from the Balocco proving ground and following careful restoration in the Officine Classiche workshops, this one-of-a-kind specimen—complete with Certification of Authenticity—also provides the opportunity to present the Alfa Romeo Classiche range of services, in close cooperation with the Alfa Romeo brand.
The Alfa Romeo 1900 Super Sprint (1956) is a sports racing car with a five-speed gearbox and an elegant, lightweight design by coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring. It is equipped with a Heritage Certificate of Origin and we can confirm that the specimen on display, belonging to a private individual, was produced on 14 July 1956 and sold 3 days later, in Paris. The blue paintwork is its original colour, and it retains the engine it was fitted with at the outset.
The Lancia 037 Gr.B (1982), which is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its victory in the Monte Carlo Rally, was the outcome of a joint project between Lancia, Abarth and Pininfarina: in 1983 it won the world constructors' title, second place in the Drivers’ World Championship with Walter Rohrl, and the European and Italian Championship with Miki Biasion.
The Fiat-Abarth 850 TC (1964), acquired by Heritage in barn find condition, has been restored to its former glory thanks to meticulous and laborious restoration work carried out by the Officine Classiche technicians on the bodywork, mechanicals, interior and instrumentation. The car will be exhibited in a work-in-progress state, demonstrating the quality of the renovations carried out.
With the aim of promoting the historical heritage of the Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Lancia and Abarth brands through services such as guided tours around the Heritage Hub in Turin, Certificates of Origin, Certifications of Authenticity and restorations, new services and opportunities for period car enthusiasts will be highlighted during the show.
With 130,000 visitors expected, over 600 exhibitors from around the world and more than 1000 cars on display, it is the perfect opportunity to present the new procedures adopted for the Certification of Authenticity, a tool that makes each historic Alfa Romeo unique thanks to the brand's experts, the Heritage technicians and the ongoing close cooperation between us.
You can count on an excellent team to support your passion by guaranteeing the timeless charm of your classic car: discover all the dedicated services.
