FCA Heritage takes part at the fourth edition of the Turin Auto Show with a unique car: the Lancia D25 Sport that Alberto Ascari never had the chance to drive.
The Turin Auto Show will be held in the splendid setting of the Parco Valentino, the city's green lung, from 6 to 10 June. The schedule is extremely busy, with a static display and a series of on-the-move events. These include the eagerly awaited parade on 10 June, in which FCA Heritage will be taking part with a car which is a world one-off, the Lancia D25 Sport.
In the event, organised in association with Aci Turin for the Gran Premio Parco Valentino, hundreds of collectors will parade through the city's streets along a route leading from Piazza Vittorio Veneto to the famous Palace at Venaria Reale.
The undisputed queen of the parade is the stunning Lancia D25 Sport Spider, the only one of its kind in the world, which will lead the way. The car, which is in perfect working order, was prepared to enable Alberto Ascari to compete in the 1955 Carrera Panamericana. As we all know, unfortunately the Milan driver was tragically killed on the Monza circuit. The Mexican government then decided to cancel the race, and so the car was transferred straight to the Museo Lancia.
