The history of four world-leading Italian motoring brands
From the most emblematic models to the most successful, revolutionary people, and the most significant events, this section illustrates and celebrates the cornerstones of Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Lancia and Abarth.
Reloaded by creators is the Heritage project involving the sale of a small number of classic cars from the Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Lancia and Abarth brands: historic models, with certified authenticity, restored to their original beauty by the Constructor itself.
The 11th semi-permanent exhibition at the Triennale Design Museum has opened under the title "Stories. Italian design".
The exhibition, which is scheduled to run until January 2019, tells the story of Italian design through plurality, with a path structured into five thematic installations that each contribute to defining the complex nature of design.
The centrepieces of the new presentation are two icons of Italian creativity, the Fiat 500 N (1958) and the Fiat Panda 30 (1980). Both cars, in their respective periods, delivered the perfect mix of style, innovation, pragmatism and excitement. They are also considered masterpieces in the history of Italian industry.
Some cars go down in history for their technological or stylistic innovation, others because they epitomise the everyday life of a generation or country. Only a handful combine both characteristics: they include the unforgettable Fiat 500 and Fiat Panda.
The two specimens on display belong to the precious FCA Heritage collection.
