Bergamo, twinned with Brescia as Italy’s 2023 Capital of Culture, witnessed Nuvolari’s win in the 1935 Grand Prix, in the Alfa Romeo P3.

In the fifth and last stretch, after paying homage to Bergamo and crossing Franciacorta, Ospitaletto and Gussago, the 1000 Miglia comes to an end in Brescia in the late morning, where a city parade precedes the final ceremony on the sloping Viale Venezia. In the evening, the Freccia Rossa’s “1000 Miglia The Night” event finishes off this incredible all-Italian week.
