On 2 June, the splendid setting of the "La macchina del tempo" Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese will welcomed the inaugural edition of RealAlfa, a contest for the conservation and restoration of models built by the Milanese automaker.
As enthusiasts know well, Alfa Romeos are very popular in concours d'élégance (competitive car shows) around the world. The reason for this is largely the meticulous work of the restorers, who are able to bring all the authentic splendour of precious historic models back to life.
The first edition of the RealAlfa contest, promoted by the Italian Alfa Romeo Register (RIAR) with the support of FCA Heritage and dedicated to the memory of journalist Maurizio Tabucchi, is open to all fans of the brand, who will be able to show off their car and submit it for evaluation by a jury of experts.
For Alfa fans, the day’s schedule includes a visit to an exhibition of models in the contest organised in the Museum’s park, participation in the parade and the award ceremony in the Sala Giulia meeting room, and a visit to the museum.
